The Vampyre Coven Content Disclaimer
Content Disclaimer!
Before you dive into The Vampyre Coven’s Content, especially if you’re a Seeker, we’d like to start off with some content warnings.
This comes with three main points that need to be addressed:
1. The sensitive nature of our content can be triggering.
The nature of our content covers a lot of sensitive ground. This course system and the content herein is not suitable for audiences under 18 years old. Our Coven does not initiate members under 21 years of age.
2. This Coven is not offering a way to turn you into a vampire.
If you’re looking to learn how to get turned into an immortal bloodsucking creature like in the movies…. this aint it.
3. Our definitions, philosophies, and ideals are ours alone. We share many ideals with the community at large but we never intend to speak for the community as a whole except in actual matters of fact.
The Vampyre Community does not have a single universal paradigm. In fact, the niche nature of vampyric belief has allowed many styles of belief and practice to adopt the vampyre moniker. The Vampyre Current is felt by many but interpreted differently based on their own leanings and perspectives.
We here at The Vampyre Coven cover a lot of community ground, but we never ever want to claim that our knowledge is the one true narrative nor does it encompass the entirety of vampyric belief. It would take a lifetime to record what everyone believes and we’re not trying to act like our information is a nice neat little box that everyone fits in.
The authors of the material through this entire website are individuals who speak on their knowledge and experiences. The information taught within our Inner Coven only covers *our* beliefs and *our* practices, nothing more. We share what we know from our point of view for others who may find value in that knowledge to soak in what they can from it. We do not pretend to be able to speak for everyone nor cover everyone’s experiences through this work.

It is ultimately your choice what you choose to utilize and what you choose to discard. Our beliefs may not be a good fit for you, and that’s okay. Our way won’t be right for everyone. It’s up to you to move forward with discernment.
Authenticity is the key
2. No “turning”
We are not here to "turn" you
It is my sincerest hope that if you’ve made it to this point, you’ll know and understand that being a vampyre is something you are not something you can take on and off like a costume whenever you want.
There will be no turning spells, no rituals to make you into something you don’t already have the potential within you to have. That’s just not what we’re here for.
What being a Vampyre entails
There are those who are undoubtedly vampyre, there are those who are exploring whether they are or are not, there are those who are intending to evolve themselves through the willful use of the vampyre archetype, and then there are those who just desire to be something they find interesting. All of the above may want to call themselves vampyre, but not all of them are… and none of them are immortal descendants of Dracula or some other ridiculous outlandish claim.
Being a Vampyre vs. Practicing Vampyric Magick
There is a difference between those who *are* vampyre and those who practice vampyric magick. I am not here to tell you which category you fall under. This space is simply an educational center for those who may find value in the history, techniques, and practices of the Vampyre.
It’s okay to be a practitioner who isn’t a vampyre but utilizes vampyric skills, mindset, and magick. However, you as a practitioner only will have a very different experience than a vampyre who believes themselves to be deficient or someone who has the spirit or soul of a vampire. Being honest about where on the spectrum you sit helps you learn from where you are and helps others meet you where you are. Pretending to be something you’re not will ultimately slow your own growth.
our traditions are ours alone
3. We Follow The Corvus Current & Tradition
We speak only for ourselves
The views, ideals, philosophies, definitions, or anything expressed on this website are the ideals and opinions of the author of the content and/or The Vampyre Coven alone. We do not speak for the entire community despite any blanket statement language that may be contained herein. Furthermore, any blanket statement language used within our courses should be taken to only apply to enrolled members of our courses and initiated members our Coven.
Everything we teach is our own points of view and we share them with you so that you know our baseline teachings, our perspectives, and where we’re coming from. Our way might not be good for you… and that’s okay. We are not for everyone and we understand that completely. But we project our energy and demeanor as a beacon for those who we are good for. Despite our (often loud) public presence, we do not wish to act as if our way is the “one true way.” Our way is our way, plain and simple. It’s got nothing to do with anyone else but those who find value in it.
Fact vs. Opinion
Except in true matters of fact like historical accounts, direct quotes, or any other provable factual matters, we never intend to speak on behalf of anyone but ourselves, our current, our system of beliefs, etc. Facts are facts, but the rest is just our opinion.
Objectivity - Seeing the parts of a bigger whole
One of the most important things I hope you’re able to learn and take away from your time within our Coven is that Vampyrism is not a monolith. Nothing in vampyrism is simple, or black and white. There is no one singular true way to identify as a vampyre or practice vampyrism. “Our way” is just one singular thread that create the woven cord that is the vampyre current. Each thread pulls from the same current of influence but each person articulates their thread in a way that makes sense to them.
We hope to help you to be able to see outside of yourself and analyze the similarities and differences of the currents around you in order to help you see the full playing field for what it is rather than getting stuck hyper-focused on a singular area. This broadened VC worldview is a crucial strength of the adept vampyre.
Finding beautiy in our liminality
The Vampyre’s liminality is one of our greatest strengths when harnessed properly. Unfortunately, vampyre community of the past has attempted to treat things with extreme rigidity. Fighting over the one true way to use and define terms, the one true way to meet and treat your groups, the one true valid way to set up your hierarchies, etc. Decades of fighting about the most trivial details have occurred when in reality, we could all just accept the liminality of our nature and allow for variance amongst our community.
While our Inner Academy absolutely does teach concepts, terms, lexicons, vampyre laws, and other cultural structures that many have considered rigid in the past, we share these things as communication and learning tools, not rigid methodology. It doesn’t matter to us whether you say vampire vs. vampyre, psy vs psi, etc. This things may get openly and honestly discussed, but it’s always your choice in how to approach your personal lexicons.
Our differences are what make us diverse and unique. Our liminality makes us beautiful, let’s celebrate it instead of stifling it.
